Preventive Nephrology

Kidney disease is prevalent in diabetics, hypertensives, and the elderly. We regularly set up camps with these people to identify kidney diseases at an early stage. Blood samples, urine samples, and physical examinations are conducted, and blood tests, urinalysis, and physical exams are collected to identify and treat the kidneys.

To protect the kidneys:

  • Don't take over-the-counter (OTC) drugs.
  • If you suffer from inadequate kidney function, avoid painkillers, especially those with side effects.
  • Quit smoking.
  • Head to keep an eye on your blood sugar levels to make sure you have good control of your diabetes.
  • 5 Poor kidney function and renal ultrasounds need to be performed regularly to keep a healthy level of blood in the urine and in diabetics with hypertension.
  • 6 Pediatricians should adhere to certain standards of follow-up and treatment when dealing with Urinary Tract and Infection (UTI) in children.
